Banned from Google
HELP! I've been banned from Google?

Banned from Google or not listed in Google

Why have I been banned from Google? Well if this is true then there are many reasons why.
You may think this because all of a sudden traffic stops coming from Google, but you may not have been completely banned as you may have received what’s known as a subtle ban.
Before you can ascertain if either of the above is true then you must first check the following before you come to that conclusion or you can request us to do it for you free of charge.

1. You were listed on Google to start with (your be surprised how many weren’t).

2. Key in your full domain name into Google’s search box.

If your domain name shows as a result which links directly to a page on your website then you have not received a complete ban, if this is the case then try step 3.

3. Key in a keyword that you used to rank highly for and look at the results.

If you see your website listed then you have not received any type of ban, but you need to do more checks with other keywords that used to bring you in lots of visitors.

4. Repeat step 3 for other keywords.

If some keywords list your website but others don’t then this mean you have not received any ban but instead you have just been out ranked by other websites or that Google no longer “thinks” you are related to those search terms any more.

What should I do?

If you do not list in Google for your own domain name (step 2) then the chances are you have received a ban. What we suggest you do is fill in our free ban check which is a free service and we will have a quick look to see what the most likely cause is, as there are many reason for this ranging from hidden text to link spamming.

If you are still listed for your domain name but don’t list any more for your keywords (step 3) then again the best option is to fill out our free ban check and we will have a quick look, as again reasons for this can range from link spamming to poor SEO or poor coding on your website.

If you list for some of your keywords (step 4) but not for others then it’s a case of needing better SEO for your website, please see our free keyword report to get an idea of what’s going on.

Please note our reports and checks are free but you must comply with our terms first before we can offer any help.

Don’t forget all is not lost as I’m sure something can be done for you.
If you have a question then please feel free to use our message service located on our contact us page, that’s free as well :-)
